Not much to say
I've had a great day
Except for this headache
I'm gonna be okay
Had crushed chips for lunch
Just tiny crisps to munch
A lab in chemistry
Spanish homework in preteritie for spanish 3
All in all, I say
I've had a great day.

Listening 2: "Right Here Waiting" Richard Marx
If you've ever been curious about what burnt rice smelled and looked like, just make the simple mistake that I did this morning. It's a Kodak moment.
I decided to have my usual for breakfast (soup and rice). Well, I put the soup on the stove to boil, and it was fine. I have boiling skills! Yay! But, I failed to make sure that the container of rice was complete, and therefore, I missed the lack of water. So minutes later as I waited for the rice to cook in the microwave, a burnt smell hit my nose, and I turned around to see steam coming out of the microwave, so I threw back the door to discover I'd just made burnt rice with the simple push of a button.
Now at the time it was less amusing because my dad was pissed and was yelling at me, but in retrospect, it was hilarious. Well, except the part that I could have burned the house down or set off all the smoke detectors....but coulda woulda shoulda....but I didn't do that, so we all live happily ever after. Lol.
MORAL OF THE STORY:
Kids, please don't try this at home!

Listening 2: "Lightning Crashes" Live
"Machinehead" Bush
Most people know that today is Mother's Day, but for those of you who are unaware of this mini-useless-occasion, you are fortunate. It's mini-holidays like these that take up time and money that could be saved for more important things. Now don't get me wrong, we should honor our mothers and all they do for us, but why set out a special day for this to do it when any other day could be just as special? Why is today special? Just because today has been set aside for millions of people to spend money on flowers or candy to show their mothers how they appreciate them doesn't mean it's total willingness that causes people to do this. It's pressure from florist companies or chocolates-makers that is the driving force behind these purchases. And what good are cheap flowers and candy that are temporary compared to spending time with loved ones daily or even weekly? Nothing can take the place of time spent with your mom because that in itself is the real gift you can give her 365(364) days a year!

If You Could See The Future, Would You Change It?
Song: "Total Eclipse Of The Heart"
By: Nikki French
Hola, earthlinks!
The first thing you should know about a girl like me is that I am not your average girl. I may be a 16-year-old teen in the capital of Texas, but at heart, I am so much more. My planet is unheard of, and I come in peace. I've come to Earth for one main purpose-to forsee the future.
On the serious side, I'm just a fun-loving girl. I'm a Cancer, and some of my hobbies include writing, reading, listening to music, singing, dancing, and chilling. I have many talents, which I practice daily.
I've tried blogging, and I usually get uninspired to keep up with my online journals, so seeing how I've become highly dependent on technology, I hope to keep a connection with this informative site of my life.
Well, earthlinks, if you want to get to know me, details on how to contact me are (or will be) posted on my fabulous blog. I adore fan mail, so send me some if you are so inclined.
Ciao!
